Usually our one to one contacts with other camera clubs have been purely about an exchange of photographs, often with some degree of competitiveness involved. Our new contact with Moray Camera Club has started on a much more informative basis. Three members came down to our usual club night and gave three very different presentations. The first focused on travel photography and the advantages of travelling light (ie with a compact rather than DSLR camera). The second was about a member's post retirement journey into photography with an emphasis on sports photography. And finally, many tips on capturing images of homes inside and out from the perspective of a photographer providing images to promote house sales. I'm sure members have picked up many tips and inspirations from this visit and we look forward to three of our members returning the favour and hopefully establishing an ongoing exchange of learning.
