Open Night and First Session go well

Great start to the new season

Our Open Night on the 28th August saw 9 people come along to find out more about the club, they all seemed quite keen on joining so hopefully they will come and check us out - it is always good to get an injection of new people each year.
Last night (4 Sept) was the first night of the 2014-15 season. Bob introduced the new programme and gave us some detail about each session and how the committee has tried to respond to feedback on previous programmes - and it seemed to get a good reception. You can see the programme here in the Programme section.
Then we saw the first images of the year in the shape of '10 images of summer' submitted by members. So we went to Mongolia, Malaya, Spain, Yorkshire, Glasgow; we saw horses, bikes, runners, motorbikes; and we ended up on a numerical beach (yes that was the odd one out). So it's all systems go for another season getting to grips with photography.
