Events at Donside Camera Club
We hold a number of outings during the summer and also a couple of outings during the club's session.
Outings for 2010/11 Session:
David Pickford’s photo walks (details and maps):
23 May : Foulsheugh (meet at Crawton at noon).
A pleasant, if smelly, walk along the cliff tops south of Stonehaven to see the abundant bird colonies there for breeding. If you book early and say you would like one, we might be able to arrange a boat trip from Stonehaven. Please phone 01464 831 463 to book a place.
08 August : Fyvie Castle (meet at noon).
We should walk around the castle grounds and gardens at least, the lake should have some wildlife to see. There is a longer walk including the woods and the village which is also interesting. Tea is available at the castle. Please phone 01464 831 463 to book a place.
DCC Stall at Grampian Transport Museum:
Saturday 21 August.
Bob will be there - please call him to help volunteer, or pop along and say hello.
Dave Valentine’s bus outing:
Sunday 22 August.
Meet 09:00 at Alford car park.
Please phone Dave on 019755 63400 or e-mail him to make sure there is a seat available. There is a charge for the hire of the minibus and petrol, typically about £15.
DCC August Coffee Morning:
Saturday 28 August , Alford Public Hall. This will be our third coffee morning, building on the big successes we had last August and December. We will announce a date in due course, and sort out events and volunteers.

Photoshoot at the Peregrine Centre just north of Huntly (off the A96) on Friday 29th May between 6.00 and 9.00 pm
28th June: Fyvie Castle at noon.
26th July: Keith Station (for the Dufftown train) at noon.
